We've had a pretty exciting couple of weeks.
We went in for the two week checkup and found out that Anna's weight was still fluctuating too much. The doctor told us that we needed to feed her every 3 hours and use a Supplemental Nursing System (SNS). Since Anna was a slow eater (she often takes an hour and a half or longer), and it took about a half hour to setup and clean-up the SNS, Jen ended up getting eight one hour naps if she didn't eat.
Thankfully, at the doctor's on Thursday, Anna's weight was up. Now, we neither have to wake her as often at night nor use SNS. With a bit more flexibility, we were able to take her to shopping over the weekend, and we even went out for dinner together!
We purchased a scale, so hopefully we won't have any more surprises! At her last weight check (here at home) she was about 8 lbs 3 oz and growing!
