Anna's has been trying out lots of words lately...

pop (this was her first word- we say it when we open a jar of baby food and the lid pops)

up "bup"- this means up or down
more "mo"
bubble
ball
water "wa-wa"
cracker "caca"
burp "bup" - She often says this when she burps and it cracks us up. I know we probably shouldn't laugh but it's soooo funny!

She also uses sign language to say:

Sunny Baudelaire

Has anyone read the book or seen the movie "A Series of Unfortunate Events?" There is a character who is around Anna's age named Sunny Baudelaire. She is known for her ability to bite things and gets herself and her siblings out of several sticky situations by coming to the rescue with her sharp teeth.

Today when I went to pick up Anna from her nap I found a piece of wood in her mouth. Not just a splinter, mind you. A decent sized chunk of wood. Turns out Anna was trying out her Sunny skills on her crib.

Church carnival

Tonight we went to Holland to attend a church carnival with out friends Lillian, Dan and Karissa. Thanks for inviting us!

Anna was happy to see her buddy Lillian again :).
